My Five ‘Selfs’
The key to getting the most out of life can be found in learning how to understand ourselves, and how to recognize and do something about the things we can continuously improve and develop within ourselves. This is why it is so valuable to have a dedicated mentor. Your mentor’s role is to help you be the best you can be.
Throughout your relationship with your mentor, the two of you will focus on five different dimensions of you….your five different “Selfs”
- My Physical Self
- My Spiritual Self
- My Relationship Self
- My Intellectual Self
- My Emotional Self
The challenge, throughout your entire life, will be to have all of your “Selfs” living in perfect harmony. They like to develop at their own pace. At different times in your life, some of them will feel more dominate than others. You constantly have to work on each one of your “Selfs” to feel balanced happy, strong and confident.
Most people do not realize until they are older that they have all these dimensions to themselves. They wish they had realized all their “Selfs” when they were younger, and wish they had taken time to really understand each one of them. Because you have a Mentor who understands the Five “Selfs”, she can work with you so that YOU can become aware of ALL of YOU, and create a balanced, happy, strong and confident you.
One of life’s great secrets is how to become a balanced, happy, strong and confident you. It is something that matters in all stages of life.
