Phase I: High School:

Esther is admitted to a special high school dedicated to educating Kenyan’s disadvantaged girls...girls like Esther. Esther’s life changes dramatically. For four years, she develops and grows in a protected, nurturing and educational environment. She experiences the care and attention of teachers and school administrators dedicated to providing her the gift of education. Because of Esther’s circumstances, she is selected by Mrs. Wanjiru, the School Director, to become a member of the Global Give Back Circle and she is assigned a dedicated mentor. Esther is connected to Andrea, a woman from California, dedicated to empowering Esther to have dreams and goals, and dedicated to coaching Esther to make them realities through “My Five Selfs” Mentoring Model. As a GGBC Member, Esther commits to making Giving Back a part of her day-to-day life by tutoring fellow students who struggle with mathematics and reading on weekends to elders in the local slum. Esther graduates high school with excellent scores and learns she is eligible for the government scholarship university program.
