Phase IV: Societal Launching

After the glow of graduation fades, the challenges of survival in a commercial world become reality as Esther begins her job search. She finds comfort in the fact that the GGBC helps her, for the next four months, with an allowance that covers room, board, personal products and clothing. In addition, KCDF and the GGBC help her with her job search.

Through her community work with the Street Children’s Centre, Esther met an executive from Barclays Bank who suggested she apply to their Executive Training Program. Esther is passionate about securing a position at Barclays, because of their commitment to Giving Back too!

Andrea is a Banker… has been a Banker all her life. She coaches Esther on how to position herself as the best candidate for the job. Esther does well on her job interviews and receives an offer from Barclays Bank. Mercy helps Esther find an apartment to share with two other GGBC Members and Mercy feels confident Esther‘s six years of ‘monthly budgeting‘ will serve Esther well as she now budgets her own money… and the money of others!
