 As Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Gladys Mumbua Mboya has fifteen years experience in commercial and corporate transactions. She is a Managing Partner with Mboya & Wangong’u Advocates. A Director of The Kenya Reinsurance Corporation (a listed public company) and currently chairing the Human Resource Committee of the Board.
Gladys Mumbua Mboya is a Certified Public Secretary of Kenya and an Arbitrator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (the Kenya Chapter).
She is a Director of Zawadi Africa Education Fund - an initiative that provides university scholarships and Mentorship for brilliant underprivileged girls. Zawadi Africa is a program geared towards providing exceptional young African women from rural and disadvantaged backgrounds, the opportunity to attend some of the best Universities in the United States of America.
She is a Board Member of the Child Welfare Society of Kenya (Nairobi branch) currently chairing the Ethics and Governance Committee. The Child Welfare Society of Kenya is a charitable organization whose goal is to promote and protect the rights of the child in Kenya. Established in 1955, it engages in a range of programs designed to achieve its vision, which is to see that all children lead a happy, fulfilling and fruitful life.
