Janet Mawiyoo

Janet Mawiyoo is the Chief Executive in charge of the day-to-day running of the Secretariat and an ex officio (non-voting) member of the Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF) Board. She coordinates activities between the KCDF board and trust and is the overall liaison person between the Foundation and all its stakeholders. She is also the Foundation spokesperson.

She holds a BA (Social Work) from the University of Nairobi, an MA (Econ) from Manchester University with a specialization in Development Administration and Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Development. She has 20 years post qualification experience.

She joined KCDF in August 2004. Ms Mawiyoo has held several senior management positions in the Development sector. She was previously Country Director, Action Aid Tanzania, where she was for five years. She has immense experience in Organization Development and Institution Building.
