Rose Mwaura is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Preferred Personnel Africa, a leading Human Resource firm in Nairobi, Kenya. She’s a seasoned headhunter with over 14 years of experience in the industry, Executive Coach and a passionate enthusiast of inspiring and empowering people to greater heights.

She is highly passionate about giving back to the community and especially causes touching on children and women’s lives. Supporting women entrepreneurs with potential is of great significance to Rose and to this end, she has been instrumental in the formation of a hair and beauty learning institution and a finishing school. She has been involved both at a personal and professional level in various community activities. She has been invited severally to give motivational talks to professional women.

Through her organization, Preferred Personnel Africa, she has also been involved in Corporate Social Responsibility activities and has contributed towards various projects most recently, an initiative by a church to support children displaced as a result of post election violence that riddled our country at the beginning of the year; Sisters Arise Project- an NGO that supports the welfare of orphaned children. Rose is also an avid golfer and sponsors a caddy golf tournament once a year and offers an education scholarship for the best caddy golfer.

She has also formed Preferred Guza Foundation, an initiative whose objective is to enable children who are under privileged gain access to financial support for their high school and university education. In order to ensure continuity of this foundation, she has also involved her two children and niece.
