Purpose of the Position:
Our site partner, Perur Rays of Hope, is seeking a skilled and experienced Beadwork
Trainer to provide high-quality technical and vocational training in beadwork to young
women in the arid and semi-arid regions of West Pokot, Kenya. The Beadwork Trainer
will play a pivotal role in empowering participants by equipping them with the skills needed
for economic independence and self-sufficiency. This role involves training participants to
create beadwork that adheres to international standards and reflects contemporary
fashion trends. Additionally, the trainer will foster a business mindset among the trainees,
guiding them to successfully transition into employment and entrepreneurship within the
beadwork industry.
